My daughter, Allie Yeung, was 4 years old when she began lesson with Ruby. Ruby has a wonderful style with students. She is caring and nurturing, yet professional and motivating. She recognizes students’ musical potential and gently steers them to where they need to be through a variety of music and theory instruction. An outstanding pianist herself, she teaches students not just to play piano but to play musically. She helped transform my Allie to a young lady who plays beautifully. If you are looking for a piano instructor for yourself or for your child, I believe you will be hard pressed to find someone better than Ruby.

Ruby is a wonderful piano teacher whom I have no hesitation in recommending. She taught my 2 sons for a period of a 6 months when I was seconded to Hong Kong last year. My sons were aged 9 + 7 years at the time, have different temperaments and are of different ability levels. Ruby tailored their tuition to their individual needs and each child made significant progress under her tutelage and more importantly really enjoyed her lessons.

Ruby taught my kids piano (Megan aged 5 and Aiden aged 7) for 2 and 4 years respectively. Ruby is a patient person, and a great teacher. Ms Ruby Lee is a patient and motivating teacher especially with the younger students. She became a piano teacher to my 3-year-old son with her committed attitude and approachable teaching methods. These characteristics naturally led me to request her to teach my other son, who was distinctively a greater challenge. Ruby took on the challenge with creative strategies for motivating him to express and practise, and made his classes very enjoyable.
She also held annual performances where she encouraged her students to perform, allowing them to experience playing to audiences and prompting her students to participate in local music competitions and performances during festive seasons. Her commitment and efforts were also reflected in the good grades my sons obtained in their piano examinations. Her move to the United States was a loss for my sons but we wish her the BEST!
